Role of Access Supervisor
The role of the access worker is as follows:
Maintains a non-judgmental and supportive attitude. Assistswith coordination of Family Access Services, parenting skills and facilitatesparent/child interactions when required. Present at all times to observe anddocument interactions between parent and child. Relates to all cultural, ethnicand socio-economic groups and lifestyles. Encourages appropriate conduct andwhen possible, redirects inappropriate conduct. The Visit Supervisor willintervene or terminate the visits if it's in the best interest of thechildren
